The Comstock Foundation is accepting mini-grant request proposals for the 2008-2009 school year. The Comstock Public Schools Foundation is pleased to announce that it is accepting grant request proposals for the Robert Hamet Teacher Grant Fund. Comstock Public School teachers are invited to submit proposals for supplementary academic programs or program enhancements. A total of four grants will be awarded during the 2008-2009 school year. Two grants will be awarded for the second trimester and two grants will be awarded for the third trimester of the school year. Awards will be made in amounts up to $250.00 per grant. During the 2007-2008 school year, the Foundation awarded over $13,000.00 in scholarships and awards in recognition of outstanding achievement both among the faculty and the students of Comstock Public Schools. |
